TeenWrite Classes

Writing classes for teens and adults.

Novel Writing

YA novelist Katherine Grace Bond teaches classes for both teens and adults in poetry, plotting, character development, novel writing, revision, and publishing.

The Plot Thickens–Thursdays, January 22-March 26 6:00-8:30, Downtown Bellevue. Adults. (HS students who are serious about their writing are also welcome.)

In this course, students will focus on structuring the novel–often the most challenging part of novel-writing. Discover the three words that drive your entire story. Find out how to avoid mid-novel sag and how to keep your reader turning pages all the way to the end. By the end of the session you will have a complete outline of your novel, and a synopsis–“the story of the story.” REGISTER

Applications are now being accepted for Session B Advanced Fiction Writing:

Advanced Fiction Writing–Tuesdays, March 3-April 7, 6:00-8:00, Redmond. Teens and College-Age

Designed to take your writing to the next level. Includes in-depth critique. No more than twelve students accepted. Notifications of acceptance will be sent by March 2, along with location information and a registration link. Registrations must be paid by the first night of class. Priority will be given to students continuing from Session A. If you are continuing from Session A or have been *accepted* to a previous Advanced Fiction class (even if you did not register at that time), no writing sample is necessary. Apply
